It seems the snowdrops brought some snow and some lower-Midwest-style cold (-11° C when I woke up Thursday morning). I guess spring has to wait awhile.
Met this guy in the Grottenau neighborhood, a hillside of small, closely-built houses dating from (I think) the mid-18th century, somehow connected with the former monastery of Neustift (the internet is unhelpful and the library is locked down…ho-hum). There’s not a lot of space, but many of the homeowners have filled that space with paint, colored glass, flowers, and sculptures. It’s a very nice walk on a snowy afternoon.
